On Saturday night, I celebrated my graduation from Nursing School. My family and Shaun's family went out to dinner and had a wonderful meal. The 13 of us enjoyed catching up with each other and celebrating.

I got some wonderful gifts!

(ok, so you can't really tell in the picture, but they are some super cute nursing shoes!! I was really excited to get them!)
My nursing pinning ceremony is on Tuesday. A pinning ceremony is a traditional nursing ceremony. It is a symbolic welcoming of newly-graduated nurses into the nursing profession. The new nurses are presented with nursing pins by the faculty. We all have to dress in traditional white scrubs and get "pinned".
I purchased my white scrubs yesterday and they are hanging in my room, waiting to be worn. Tomorrow, I will be cleaning and getting ready for my Aunts to come into town. I am also getting my hair and nails done. :)
Tuesday is the big day. This is such a huge accomplishment for me and I am happy to get to celebrate all of my hard work!
Thanks again to all of my wonderful family! I had such an amazing time with all of you. Thanks for all of the great gifts!
