Okay so here is what happened...I walked into class one morning, sat in my usual seat, got out my notebook and started chatting with my classmates...when all of the sudden something happened.....a scorpion fell onto my desk, 6 inches from my head! It fell right onto my notebook and started crawling toward me! I immediately jumped out of my seat in shear fear! My heart has never raced so fast!
I have now developed anxiety while sitting in this class and still have 10 weeks left in this classroom. I am constantly looking up at the ceiling and checking if there is anything crawling around! I have never been so paranoid about something before. I can not wait for this class to be over! :-)

If I were you, I would be more paranoid that the teacher would try to use you getting stung as a time to teach how to treat a scorpion sting. At least you were in a place where nurses and supplies are present.

You know, I actually wrote a story about this experience!! And, you are not alone in watching the ceiling. You had it the worst, though, since you were seated right under the hole. I'm so glad they finally fixed it.
